As a pianist, whether it be a Hindemith sonata, choral work, opera aria, art song, or piano duo, Jennifer is equally at home in the vocal and instrumental worlds. She is very adaptable, learns music quickly, meets deadlines, and is a reliable and inspired collaborator. Jennifer is an experienced recording artist and frequently works with other performers to create recordings for auditions or distribution. Jennifer is a seasoned choral pianist who knows how to work well with conductors and bring the best out of the ensembles she plays for.
As a music coach, Jennifer can work with you to master your repertoire- rhythm, notes, intonation, musicality. Whatever you might need help with to prepare your music, she’s here to support you!
As a music director, Jennifer knows how to work with musicians in diverse settings to bring out their best performances and is specific, prepared, and supportive in her leadership style. She has led choirs, pit orchestras, cabaret trios, church ensembles, and more.
Jennifer has worked with and performed at many esteemed institutions- DePaul University, Music Institute of Chicago, The Kennedy Center, The Royal George Theater, The Chopin Theater, Polish Consulate, Mayne Stage, The Musical Offering, Merit School of Music, ChiArts, local universities, opera companies, and choral programs. She has performed for Renee Fleming, Elizabeth Futral, Ramsey Lewis, Michael Ehrman, Jane Bunnell, and with violinist Nisanne Howell of the CSO. She regularly works with singers from the CSO, Lyric Opera, and Grant Park Choruses.
